Monitoring Application of the Official Forecast of the State of Alagoas Time

This application aims to inform the population of Alagoas, using a widespread disclosure tool (cellular telephony), the weather forecast by the teams of the Hydrometeorology Board and the Semarh Alert Room.

The main advantage of the application is the effective participation of state meteorologists, feeding daily with the region's meteorological information, differentiating from other applications that are automated, and use the information of generic weather models. Thus, knowledge of the meteorological systems that operate in the region and the detailing of the forecast for Alagoas is a significant differential, considerably improving the quality of the weather information made available to the public.

Within the application we have the following information:

· Meteorological forecast of the current day to the municipality in which the user is located and forecast for 72 hours (current day plus two later days);

· Meteorological forecast by the state environmental region (Coastal, Baixo São Francisco, Zona da Mata, Agreste, Sertão do São Francisco and Sertão) to 72 hours, and it is possible to verify the forecast for all municipalities of the state of Alagoas individually;

· Updated information on the weather conditions of the Northeast Region and cloudiness over the state of Alagoas;

· Instant temperature of the selected municipality;

· Maximum and minimal temperatures, maximum ultraviolet index (iUV), wind speed and direction and maximum relative humidity of the current day and two days later.
