The golf club

The Neumagenheim golf course was opened by a private operator in autumn 1990. With her plastic grass, it did not correspond to the regulations of the German Golf Association. Also, the economy of the plant did not meet the expectations of the operator.

In order to advance golf in the region and saved the Neumagenheim facility, the idea to found a golf club was born in May 1992. It was acted quickly and on September 5, 1992 the start -up assembly took place, in which 72 people took part.

The then Presidium acted with the new operator a usage contract that provided the expansion of the golf course as the main content in accordance with the DGV. The majority of the members approved this usage contract at an extraordinary general meeting on July 7, 1995.

During the construction work on the golf course, the Neumagenheim golf club had temporarily received a right to play at the Liebenstein neighboring club. The newly built 9-hole golf course (Par 64) has been the sporting home of our club since autumn 1997.

The next destination for the Golf Club Schlossgut Neumagenheim was the establishment of a clubhouse, which could then be inaugurated on April 30, 2008. It took more than 10 years before the idea should become the club's new visit card.

The clubhouse fits perfectly into the landscape and the spacious terrace is the meeting point for club life and invites you to linger.

The Golf Club Schlossgut Neumagenheim is a member of the Württemberg, in the Baden-Württemberg and in the German Golf Association as well as in the Baden-Württemberg State Sports Association.

The club currently has around 465 members in early 2010. New members are very welcome. We offer active youth work for young interested parties to take part in team sport for sporting golfers, for the sociable hobby player participating in the seniors or ladiesday.
